Payments FAQ

Summary

Bubba supports secure card payments and pay-at-venue options. All transactions are processed through Adyen with full PCI DSS compliance. Refunds follow each provider's cancellation policy.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Bubba accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, and other major card networks.
  • Pay at venue — some providers allow you to pay in person when you arrive for your appointment.

The available payment options are shown during checkout and may vary by provider.

2. Payment Security

Your payment information is handled securely:

  • All card payments are processed by Adyen, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider.
  • Bubba never stores your full card details on our servers.
  • 3D Secure (3DS) authentication may be required by your bank for additional security.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on the provider's cancellation policy:

  • Free cancellation — many providers offer free cancellation up to a certain time before the appointment.
  • Partial refunds — late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • No refund — missed appointments (no-shows) are typically non-refundable.

Refunds are processed to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

4. Receipts & Invoices

After a completed booking:

  • A receipt is available in your booking details on the Orders page.
  • You can access your payment history from the Account page.

5. Common Issues

My payment was declined

  • Check that your card details are entered correctly.
  • Ensure your card has sufficient funds.
  • Contact your bank if 3DS authentication fails repeatedly.

I was charged but didn't receive a confirmation

  • Check your email (including spam folder) for the confirmation.
  • Open the Orders page in the app — your booking should appear there.
  • If the issue persists, contact us via the Contact page.

I want a refund

  • Cancel the booking from the Orders page if still within the cancellation window.
  • For disputes or issues, contact our support team via the Contact page.
